About

Dale Hollow is a small winery in Stover that started with a story about two brothers born and raised in this quaint rural Missouri community.  With more than a little luck, they persuaded two very important women to join the family and together they all four developed a passion for growing grapes and making wine.  Most importantly, they want to create something to be enjoyed with friends and family; sharing good times in the community that has always supported them. Dale Hollow is a name, but as the logo suggests, it captures a bit of nature, imagination, and a story that’s still in chapter one.

Cheers.

Good luck, Jesse and family! A few of your fellow FDIC co-workers just wondering if you started this dream. This is awesome.

    1. Hey Jess! Yes, my brother and our wives dreamt this up about 5 years ago. Can’t believe it’s been that long, time flies. Actually, my wife was in class 28, we met on the roof of the Seidman during training. Coincidentally it was also on the roof that I first developed an interest in wine. So our time at the FDIC played a huge role in this coming about! It’s a lot of work but there’s not much as rewarding as making wine from grapes that we grow. Thanks for visiting the site!
